The Montedoglio Lake: located only 5 minutes away is wonderful for sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.
Horse riding: A riding school is also only 5 minutes away.
Trekking: Hiking enthusiasts can walk for hundreds of miles on unspoiled mountain trails, with breathtaking views at every bend of the path.
One day tours: One hour away by car are the towns of Arezzo, Cortona, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Spoleto and Urbino each offering more art and history as well as more local wines and food of high standard. Florence, Siena and the Republic of San Marino are one and half-hours by car, as is the Rimini coast, where one can experience Italian seafood.
It is very close to Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo (The Artist's Birthplace) and Monterchi, towns of artistic and historical interest. They all boast great a number of excellent and traditional Tuscan restaurants for all tastes.
At the nearest City, Sansepolcro 4km: a restaurant, farmacy, butcher, green grocer, baker, florist, newsagent, supermarket, bar, post office, bank, chemist, clothing and forniture shop etc. Grocery store a 300 mt: open also Sunday.
